The flexible VH Advantage has a slim silhouette, stretchy technical fabric and mesh sides for optimal breathability, comfort and flexibility while riding and provides superior shock buffering protection on inflation. Designed for use over show and hunt jackets for competition but robust enough for use hacking and schooling. In addition to reinforced chest and spinal airbags, this vest boasts the signature Hit Air neck protection, unique to all Hit Air vests. The mechanism and airbags are tested twice in the production process and are brought to you by Hit Air who have specialised in worn air technology for over 25 years. Annual servicing is recommended and is supported by a dedicated UK based service centre.
The offer includes one CO2 canister, saddle strap, lanyard and comprehensive instructions which must be read before use.

      the Hit-Air vest is designed as a shock buffering, stabalising system, giving added protection to the neck, spine, collar bones, lower back, rib cage and vital organs

      • the neck protection is designed to decelerate the neck in the event of a fall, significantly reducing the possibility of hyper-extension and whiplash

      • a saddle strap is attached firmly to the stirrup bars
      • the air vest is attached to the saddle strap by a lanyard
      • the inflation is activated when the rider becomes detached from the horse and the lanyard is pulled from the key ball mechanism, this pierces the CO2 canister
      • the vest has a valve which allows the air vest to slowly deflate after it has inflated
      • the deflation process can be speeded up significantly by unscrewing the canister
      • the canister needs to be replaced once the vest has been inflated
